Three
Eagles teams win Gold over the weekend.
Our Under 12A won their Hespeler Early bird, the Under 15A
Gold won their Hockey Benders Fall Classic and the Under 10AA won their Garden
City Early Bird. We also had strong
showings by some of our other teams this past weekend. Our Under 15AA, Under 12AA, Under 18AA and
Under 14A Gold all made it to the finals while our Under 11AA lost in the semis. A strong start for many of our teams this season.
Our U12A started off with a close loss to the Orillia Terriers. But this loss did not deter them. Instead it
only seemed to ignite their fire, and the team came back to win their next 4
games bringing home the Gold.
Our U15A Gold dominated this past weekend, going undefeated
in all 4 of their round robin games.
They then faced TNT in the championship, bringing home Gold with a 1-0
win.
Our U10AA opened their tournament with a tie against West
Niagara before going on to be undefeated in the next 4 games, winning gold with
a 3-2 victory against the Glancaster Bombers.
