The Pro Hockey Life Minor Peewee A team wins the Richard Bell Memorial Hockey Tournament
The Minor Peewee A team spent their
Christmas holidays in Oakville and said goodbye to 2016 by winning their third
tournament this season.
The boys played 4 preliminary games, defeating Woolwich Wildcats 6-0; Humber Valley Sharks 9-0; Grimsby Peach Kings 8-0 and losing 2-4 to Oakville Rangers 2. After a tough loss to Oakville, the team went back to business and defeated the Aurora Tigers 7-2 in the semifinal game. The Championship game gave the Eagles a chance at redemption for the their only loss of the tournament, by facing the Oakville Rangers. The team battled hard and won 2-0.
